Methyl laitone is a woody coconut note with a lactonic character. This material is more versatile than one might initially expect: Beyond the obvious coconut accord, it's extremely well suited to floral accords; in particular, white florals like Jasmine, Tuberose and Gardenia. Small amounts add volume and creaminess to fragrances and it also blends well with sandalwood notes like Javanol.

Please note that this powerful material is supplied diluted to 10% in DPG by the original manufacturer (Givaudan).
