Mayol is a versatile and important Lily of the Valley (Muguet) aromachemical (of which there are many). It can be used in Lily of the valley accords but also beyond that to add a sweet transparent radiance to fragrance compositions without smelling overtly floral. It's more stable than many other Lily of the Valley molecules and overall is comparable to Florol.
