Vertofix is a staple woody synthetic which lies at the heart of many perfumers' palettes. It's a very clean smelling cedar note which is fairly subtle. It's use lies not in its power, but rather it's ability to seamlessly blend together other woody notes and smooth out their rough edges. For example, adding this to Cedarwood Virginian essential oil creates a basic clean and modern woody accord.
