Ähnlich wie Isobutylphenylacetat, das von Jean Claude Ellena in seiner Skizze des Schokoladengeruchs (aus dem Buch "Tagebuch einer Nase") verwendet wird, wenn es mit vanillin kombiniert wird. Isoamyl phenylacetate hat zwei Seiten: Eine süß und balsamisch, die andere dick und animalisch. Dieses Material eignet sich für schwere Gourmet- und animalische Kompositionen.
