Labdanum ist ein süßes, balsamisches, dunkel-harziges Material, das aus der Zistrose im Mittelmeerraum gewonnen wird und seit Jahrhunderten ein zentraler Bestandteil der Parfümeurspalette ist. Es ist unverzichtbar für die Kreation von Amber-, Chypre- und Weihrauch-Akkorden, ein Grundrohstoff in der Parfümerie, der in unzähligen Kontexten eingesetzt werden kann.

Unser Labdanum-Absolue wurde mit größter Sorgfalt ausgewählt. Wir haben 10 verschiedene Chargen von verschiedenen Herstellern getestet, um sicherzustellen, dass wir die bestmögliche Qualität anbieten. Wir führen eine „leichte“ Variante von Labdanum, die Parfums weniger dunkel macht als die animalischere „dunkle“ Variante. Unser Labdanum hat eine einzigartige Honig-Kopfnote, die sich von allen anderen, die wir getestet haben, abhebt und ihm eine besondere, strahlende Wärme und Süße verleiht. Im Abgang entwickelt es ein lederartiges Duftprofil.

Really great website to use as a beginner perfumer getting into the business. The imagery behind each of the fragrances is very insightful and guiding.

OUT OF THIS WORLD LABDANUM

This is now my most favorite ingredient. I’ve blended it with CEDARWOOD ATLAS, VETIVER and AMBROXAN. One in perfumers alcohol and another in augeo to use in my diffuser. Both myself and the house smells wealthy and sophisticated. This also helps with my adhd and moods.
Smells are subjective, profoundly so. But I think it’s sweet, Smokey, woody. And I can detect an hint of honey.
And there’s something else I can’t put my finger on. Just a richness. I also now know what gives most of Penhaligons scents their signature. I’m sure it’s this.
