Patchoulol is naturally found in patchouli, forming the "heart" - it's the characteristic odour principle component, similar to how Veramoss is the clean heart of Oakmoss. Patchoulol comes as crystals and present an ultra-clean and purified version of the comforting cashmere-earthy long tail into the base note which patchouli oil possesses. This prized material is a versatile tool in the arsenal of the adept perfumer.
