Also known as Veramoss. This is the Givaudan manufactured version which has the trade name "Evernyl".

The main component of Oakmoss, a raw material with a forest smell which is traditionally used to create fougère accords. This aromachemical is cleaner smelling than oakmoss. It's extremely long lasting (it's also called Evernyl) and is deceptively powerful in blends. It can create a powdery effect in your perfumes.
