L’un des premiers synthétiques utilisés en parfumerie, il reste aujourd’hui l’une des matières premières les plus importantes et les plus utilisées. C’est ce que la plupart des gens identifient comme l’odeur de la vanille, car il est aussi largement employé dans l’industrie des arômes (la vraie vanille est bien moins sucrée et plus boisée que ce que beaucoup imaginent). Une touche de vanilline suffit à apporter une douceur durable à vos compositions parfumées. En plus grande quantité, elle donne une note vanillée franche, mais attention : trop de vanilline peut rendre vos parfums écœurants et synthétiques.
