DMBCB (kort voor Dimethyl Benzyl Carbinyl Butyrate) is een unieke en interessante fruitig-bloemige noot. Het heeft een donker pruimen geurprofiel met delicate bloembladachtige inflecties. Relatief langdurig en daarom nuttig in mid noot constructie en voor pruim of andere steenvrucht akkoorden.
