Floralozone is een heel unieke geurmolecule in de parfumerie, omdat het een pure, nauwkeurige en kenmerkende ozonachtige geur heeft. In die zin is het zeer nuttig voor het creëren van allerlei frisse luchtakkoorden. Het kan ook worden gebruikt om frisheid toe te voegen aan andere akkoorden, zoals florale geuren. Natuurlijk kan het ook worden ingezet om de ozonnoot zelf te maken.
