Uleiul de grapefruit este una dintre notele de vârf citrice comune în parfumerie. Miroase în mod distinctiv strălucitor, tropical și citric (și exact ca un grapefruit). Foarte ușor de folosit - pur și simplu adaugă la aproape orice compoziție de parfum pentru a o ridica cu o deschidere strălucitoare. Această calitate particulară de la Albert Vieille (redenumită recent Givaudan House of Naturals) este deosebit de fină.
