Il brassilato di etilene è uno dei muschi più utilizzati in profumeria, e non a caso. È morbido e neutro, con sfumature di dolcezza alla vaniglia. Ha una lunga durata e si adatta a quasi tutte le composizioni di profumo. È una base su cui altre note possono costruire, lasciando un delicato e persistente profumo sulla pelle di chi lo indossa.
