Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation.

Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. — No smoking. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

Il safranal è la materia prima che dona il vero profumo di zafferano. Il principale svantaggio è che è molto limitato dall’IFRA. Il lato positivo? È estremamente potente, quindi lo si percepisce anche con una forte diluizione. Esiste anche la safraleina, un’ottima materia prima di per sé, ma non è un sostituto del safranal. Il safranal è fondamentale in molte composizioni di fragranze moderne, come quelle ispirate a Baccarat Rouge 540. Lo offriamo qui in una diluizione all’1% in etanolo per renderlo più accessibile. Anche a questa diluizione, supera di gran lunga il limite IFRA.
