Strawberry glycidate is commonly referred to as “Aldehyde C16”, however that’s actually a misnomer; it’s not an aldehyde at all. It smells like a synthetic rendition of strawberry and has been used as such for decades. Not a realistic strawberry note alone, but an interesting sweet fruity berry note note the less.
