Anisaldehyde smells sweet and fruity, a little like raspberry and cherry, but with a slight spicy facet too. Powerful and fairly long lasting for a fruity-floral note which is more eloquent than some of the fruity esters. Useful in cherry, hawthorn and heliotrope accords. Keep in mind this one is fairly restricted by the IFRA.
