Ethyl safranate is structurally similar to the damascones and also very similar in smell (apple, rose), albeit a little more sweet and fruity. Unlike the damascones, ethyl safranate is not heavily restricted by the IFRA and therefore very useful to supplement or bridge them in compositions. Apple and rose compositions will benefit in particular from ethyl safranate, however it's fairly easy to use in many contexts and can be used in many ways to great effect.

Can't fault the quality of the product and the service. I'm not a huge fan of the scent on its own, but that's not due to a lack of quality, that's just personal preference, hence the 5 stars.
To my nose, it smells a bit like weak blackcurrant squash.
Still, an ingredient to try mixing with others to see if it compliments them!
