Isoraldeine 95 is a high purity form of Alpha-isomethyl ionone (commonly known as Methyl ionone gamma) manufactured by Givaudan. This raw material smells of violets, similar to the other ionones. This one in particular is very soft and velvety and is perhaps the most popular, frequently used in designer perfumes to pad out the structure with a soft and voluminous aura. In particular, this ionone is famous for its heavy use in the Grojsman accord from the perfume "Trésor", widely regarded as one of the most important "modern-classic" perfumes.
