Neofolione is a modern green note manufactured by Givaudan. It offers a strong, sharp, almost "hot-iron" style green scent which is usually used in trace amounts to add a bright green liveliness to compositions. It's a violet leaf type green note, similar to the classic Methyl Octine Carbonate (just a little less sweet). This modern substitute is unrestricted by the IFRA, making it very useful when recreating a prominent violet leaf note.
